May News
The class' intrepit correspondence shows amazing dedication in seeking out stories about us. I received a call from Harold Zito and he reported that he had been working hard to gather facts ~ even to the point of visiting Dietzi's. It seems he came across Joan Bonser's brother there and learned that Joannie is having some more problems.
You may know that she has had some difficulty with her weight and this has impacted on her significantly. Now it seems she has fallen and broke her hip. This is tough on anyone our age but when you add the weight difficulty you can understand what she is going through. I assume she is still in the nursing facility there in Wind Gap if you want to drop her a card.

Classmate Doris May is having her hands full with health concerns of her men. My brother Bill went thru some serious difficulties and lost his colon. The battle seems behind him as the Ostomy was reversed and he is again getting around and keeping busy. Now the concern is son Billy who still lives with them. A colonoscopy revealed some cancerous polyps and some form of mass. He is to go under the knife this week but we are told the prospects are quite good and that he will probably not need radiation or chemo. I am sure they would appreciate your prayers.

My concern is that my AF Paralegal grandson, Brian May, is being deployed from Turkey to Iraq at the end of the month. His family returned to the US last month as Chrissy is expecting their third (girl) child. I guess the blessing is that I get to see the two blond great-granddaughters now and then.
