End of Mar 06 Update

Hey everyone.....

Got a call from AA this AM and he wanted to know about plans for our 60th. I told Anthony he was pretty far out as that is next year. The word I got from Reta is that we will have a luncheon at Stoudsmoor this July and will then start our plans for the 60th.

Anthony is fine and enjoying his outdoor life in Maine. Bagged a 750 moose during hunting season (at least I assume during season) and wanted me to share that with the hunters in the class. I live in the mountains a good bit of the time but do not hunt and forgot to ask if he did it with bow and arrow or rifle. Still with the same lovely lady he brought to the 55th and they run a flower business there in the small town of Lincoln.
Dwayne had his back surgery and I spoke with him only moments ago. He came through it well and is in the long, slow recovery that can mean no golf for six months. The pain is pretty bad but he knew to expect that and is dealing with it.
Doris May is healing and her broken leg is about as good as it ever was. The knee replacement is still necessary as that is giving her the most trouble getting around. She did have one done but the second one is ripe. She now uses a four-leged cane to get around and that keeps her moving for now. With the problems my brother Bill is experiencing (cancer and chemo, heart and circulation) she feels her plate is too full right now to consider the surgery.

I'd really like to hear from everyone and get input into the interest in the luncheon (dates to be announced) and what to plan for the 60th.
